Fixation

I have to communicate with many people and from each dialogue I absorb something like a sponge and get very valuable information. Then I filter this information and draw conclusions. Today I would like to touch on the topic of fixation on the problem (the scale of the problem does not matter). Have you noticed for yourself that you can go in cycles in one thought and procrastinate it until it takes all your valuable energy and deenergizes? If I hit the “bullseye” and you often practice “obsession”, today you will forget about it as a nightmare. Because besides “vampirism” it does not bring benefits. But we are not masochists to torment our own, already smart brain? What is the harm of fixation? As you might have guessed, constant thoughts about the same thing lead to energy depletion. By and large, all negative thoughts devastate us, we feel weak, weakened - these are psychosomatic manifestations. And we begin to look for the reasons: “lack of vitamins?”, Or maybe “the weather affects?

What is the harm of fixation?

As you might have guessed, constant thoughts about the same thing lead to energy depletion.

By and large, all negative thoughts devastate us, we feel weak, weakened - these are psychosomatic manifestations. And we begin to look for the reasons: “lack of vitamins?”, Or maybe “the weather affects?”. Of course, changes in weather conditions affect us, more precisely, on our cardiovascular system. We feel magnetic storms most of all. Do you know why? Because the majority of the population lives in a looped state, and this leads to neurosis, and neurotics feel the charm of geomagnetic disturbances in all their glory. With all this, I'm sure most people do not even suspect that they have a neurosis.

“Thanks” to negative thoughts, we, invisible to ourselves, but noticeable to others, become irritated, nervous, not happy and quick-tempered. Often these thoughts are connected with the problem of self-realization. Such “thoughts” concentrate our attention on the negative aspect, and we do not notice all the beauty around us, the little things that make interesting sounds, or the smells of nature - we have no time, we are busy with “thinking” about our problem. Most affected by this are children who wait for attention from their loving parents and try to attract attention in various ways, even to play a trick, if only they were noticed. And in response they receive only punishment from angry parents who are in a neurosis from their thoughts. The longer you are in a neurosis, the greater the risk that your child will become a neurotic.

How to stop looping?

The easiest answer, just stop doing it and that’s it! As soon as you catch yourself thinking that you are fixated, switch your attention to something else. Otherwise, the headache will be your companion until you solve the problem.

Now the matter remains small, you need to develop the habit of switching attention and letting go of the situation. At first you will keep track of these thoughts and it will seem to you that it is difficult. But, I assure you, the training time and after a month you will cease to understand what thoughts you pay too much attention and automatically remove it from priority. This is a very useful experiment - letting go of a thought or situation. After working through this, you will feel lightness, you know, as if throw off the stone that you drag on your shoulders.
