In summer Austrian alpine lakes confidently claim the title of "place in paradise." On our last, already such a long, summer trip to Salzburg and the surrounding area, we stopped for a couple of hours in Fuschl am See. The atmosphere impressed with its calm, tranquility and wonderful views of the lake. Since then, I cherished the dream of getting here for a few days. Fuschl, Wolfgangsee, Mondsee ... Ah, these deep mountain lakes with water shades of precious stones - emeralds, sapphires, turquoise The water in them is glacial, but in the smaller lakes it is surprisingly warm. And it was very pleasant to dip in them your pampered body of the Israeli Mediterranean. It was also nice to walk along the well-groomed paths around the lake (12 kilometers on foot, by the way), climb Mount Schafberg, so that while slowly drinking beer at its top, contemplate the surrounding beauty and the flight of hang gliders ("Probably only a hang glider will help me ...").
