Greetings my dear reader! Make yourself at home. I really hope that my stories will help you escape from the problems and immerse yourself in the wonderful world of my fantasies.
1. Let's consider the first version of the early version. The beginning resembles the final version, but then it differs greatly, there are a lot of interesting subtleties here. Bolto lies in the snow and looks through the raging blizzard with despair. Here snow whirlwinds form a figure in front of him, it takes the form of a snow-white mysterious wolf. In fear, Bolto crawls back ("What do you want?"), but the White Wolf first looks at the half wolf and then moves away. He leaves a mark on the snow and looks back at Bolto, waiting for him. The bolto rises to his feet, approaches the wolf and uncertainly lowers his paw into his footprint. The trace and his paw fit perfectly, Bolto finally finds out who he really is. The White Wolf appears again and starts to cry, waiting for an answer from Bolto. Bolto tries to join his song, but accidentally breaks down, resulting in a barking. The White Wolf stops talking, bewilderedly lifts one eyebrow and smiles at the embarrassed semicolonage, and then howls again, as if teaching Bolto and supporting him. They howl together, in the blizzards and sunlight, as if becoming one being, and the whole episode ends with an epic ending (I have already described the end of the earlier version above).
Here White Wolf is most strongly involved as an active and separate character, rather than an image. He is surprised, smiles, waits and teaches. It is also here that he has a neutral, realistic and masculine appearance and a pink nose. And here he is a friendly spirit-conductor, a visualized inner voice that inspires Bolto. Here White Wolf is silent, soft and patient, he confidently leads Bolto and shows him the way, helps him to understand himself, teaching, and mysteriously disappears. The scene in this version is very short (much shorter than the final one), and the accent here is focused on the White Wolf, which helps Bolto, and on the mysticism in the northern wilderness in the mountains, rather than on Bolto himself, who first shows fear for him and then perceives the wolf as a friend, which helped him. Yes, the scene is very atmospheric and mysterious, but the drama, soulful throwing or epic is still smaller here than in the second old version or in the final version.
2. Let's consider the second version of the old version. In my opinion, it has even more subtleties and curious details, as well as touching moments. It is much closer to the final final version, but still has its differences. The beginning of this old version completely coincides with the final one, except for a couple of details: Woke up and exhausted Bolto sees in the purge among the rare rays of rare mirages - translucent silhouette of the statuesque white wolf and hears a weak wolf howl in the humming wind (and interesting, that in the epic finale of the scene mentioned above, Bolto stands in exactly the same position as the White Wolf in the mirage, but under the already fully visible sun - a direct hint of the true "I" Bolto, who he really is); Bolto loses consciousness again, awakened, it is the White Wolf. Nevertheless, when the frightened Bolto tries to crawl away, the White Wolf above him stops him, stepping forward, saying, don't run away from the problems, I won't hurt you (I am a little amused by this moment, because I want to voice his thoughts: "Listen here, baby. You're not a nice home dog. You're a wolf. Get up and stand up"; and there is a small association with Bambi's father, where he calls on the wounded son to stand up). He starts to cry. Bolto tries to join him, but snaps and makes a short barking instead of a fight, after which he feels shame. The White Wolf stops talking and looks at him as if saying, "Come on. Try again - you can do better! (It's not very clear if he really says it to the half-wolf, or if it's a description of his thoughts and what Bolto sees and hears).
