Notes Of The Young Writer

Wolf's legacy.4.

Greetings my dear reader!
Make yourself at home.
I really hope that my stories will help you escape from the problems and immerse yourself in the wonderful world of my fantasies.

Fourthly, this moment was the only one; attention was not focused on it at all. Bolto himself simply said: "My family has big paws. At least half of it."

He did not specify that in his family it was mother wolf. And then, this phrase is just a reference to the cut-out scene, where Jenna helps Bolto, who turned up his paw.

Fifthly, if Bolto has a wolf mother just because a random malamute said so for fun, then his husky father is called Bingo, because Steele called Bolto by that name ("They didn’t take it, Bingo?").

And this black bingo appeared in the first film for a couple of seconds. Absurdity, isn't it?

Surprisingly, the creators of the sequels did not pay attention to this.

In addition, in the first film we were not shown a single homeless or just a domestic dog who did not run in a harness.

Among females, only Jenna's husky and her two girlfriends are pets. The latter, by virtue of the breed, cannot be sledding. We don’t see female dogs running in the team (one of them appears only in “Wings of Changes”), but we see three homeless mutts drooling at Steele for a couple of seconds.

And one of these dogs with its color suspiciously resembles Bolto.

Plus, there is also Cyberwulfe fan artwork from 1996-2001 (long before the sequels, just a moment), where the version of Simon Wells was taken into account.

Now take Wolf Quest.

Since the spirit from the legends of the north is for some reason positioned by the mother and thereby the White Wolf from the original, it is not possible to dock it with the first film at all.

It surfaced literally from nowhere, and even has no justification as such. Surprisingly, the version of Simon Wells has much more detail than in Wolf Quest.

Let us examine why this is so. And at the same time, we’ll analyze why Inae could not be the White Wolf from the first film, Bolto’s mother, and the living wolf in general.

The first one. In the original cartoon, neither on the face of the White Wolf nor Bolto himself there was at least a spark in his eyes, hinting that they know each other or are connected by blood ties.

Neither meek joy, nor hope, nor a simple smile, nor a whisper or a greeting. A completely silent scene, where Bolto's fear and shame is shown before a mighty stately white wolf on unbending legs. In the sequel, Bolto never mentioned this meeting.

What prevented the authors from unobtrusively hinting to the viewer in the sequel that they had already met before?

When a wolf pack leader spoke of a white wolf from his dreams, what prevented Bolto from speaking about a certain white wolf he had met before?

What prevented Bolto from asking Inae if she had appeared to him that time in the gorge, to which the she-wolf smiles and nods?

The sequel director was asked by fans, they say, Inae is the White Wolf from the first film or another new character. He replied that Inae was the White Wolf from the original film and was originally conceived by the authors of the first film (then why didn’t Mother give any hints to Bolto?

Why didn’t she talk to him, tried to cheer up, hug her son and so on, and instead this stupidly stood with complete indifference and composure, eventually evaporating altogether in a direction known only to her ?!).

Since he did NOT see the first cartoon at the time of the sequel, his answer to the fans' question was more likely an excuse for the first information he heard.
