Hello! You are on the channel All or nothing, thanks for reading me! Glad to see you and enjoy reading!
The article is subjective and expresses the personal opinion of the author.
1. Do not check the license of the university and the accreditation of the faculty
Every year Rosobrnadzor revokes licenses of many universities. The practice began in 2014, hundreds of higher educational institutions have already closed. Each time this happens by decision of the Arbitration Court. In such situations, everything is very strict: there is no license - there is no right to educate students.
In which Russian universities the license was suspended or completely canceled in 2017-2018.

54. European University
I specifically listed all these universities so that you understand how impressive this list is. Do not think that this problem should not concern you. The fact is that licenses are revoked and suspended not only at commercial universities, but also at state ones. By the way, problems with the license may arise at the selected university and after your enrollment there. The scandalous story with the revocation of the European University license and the refusal of Shaninka accreditation in several areas (“psychology”, “management”, “sociology”, “political science” and others) shows that “trouble” can come in a good, respected university .
How to understand that the university has already begun problems and Rosobrnadzor has a number of questions for it? The first bell should be the fact that the university was deprived of accreditation in some areas. That is, you should be alerted by the situation when the educational institution is allowed to work, but it is forbidden to issue state-issued diplomas at several faculties.
The list of universities deprived of state accreditation, I will not give. You can independently check any university on the Rosobrnadzor website. And yet: if the university does not have accreditation, then you will not only lose your diploma, but also a deferment from the army, as well as a tax deduction subject to paid tuition.
2. Carry the original documents immediately to the selection committee
You can carry the original documents in one university (instead of five) only under the only condition: if you are 100% confident in the choice of one single and unique higher educational institution. I don’t think this is the right entry strategy, since your choice of one university does not guarantee 100% admission based on the results of the competition. You will not be able to take photocopies to other universities, because they are compared with the originals in the admission commissions when receiving documents, and you will no longer have them in your hands.
I think that you can be absolutely sure of admission only under the condition of very high scores of the exam
But if you are a high-ranking student, then why not try your luck at other top universities? By submitting documents to one single university, you are depriving yourself of the right to participate in the competition in the other four possible universities or academies.
Another argument in defense of my position: if you change your mind and try to take back the original documents and still try the fate of other universities, you may have problems. Sometimes admission commissions, under various pretexts, do not issue documents back. The Internet is replete with similar stories. Believe it or not is up to you. But why rush to the originals when the law provides for very convenient dates for admission? Carry the original documents after the competitive situation of the current year becomes clear, not earlier.
3. Do not ask the selection committee to throw points for the final essay
Everyone knows that each graduate can throw himself 10 bonus points for individual achievements. But many people think that this does not concern them, since they do not have a “gold medal”, a TRP badge or a volunteer book. In fact, each applicant can improve his result a little without problems, without taking any special actions. This is a final essay. That it may be the reason for accruing additional points.
In order to get these points, it is enough to say about it in the selection committee when submitting documents. How much will they add? Everything is strictly individual here. In some universities, this may be a maximum of 10 points! Find out the exact information on the sites of specific higher education institutions.
4. Sit for a month in front of the monitor and monitor the competition frantically
In 2018, the admission campaign started on June 20, on July 29, competitive lists (recommended for enrollment) of applicants for 80% of the budget places remaining after priority enrollment will be published.
This means that you will understand whether your points are enough for entering the budget or not, only after 39 days (if you brought the documents on June 20, for example). Many people think that all this long month should be devoted to sitting in front of a computer in order to monitor the slightest changes on the websites of universities. In no case do you have to do this!
The fact is that after submitting documents to five possible universities, the only thing you should do is immediately begin to relax
It is difficult, of course, to switch over and forget for such a long time that you are an applicant, but, believe me, any of your actions after submitting documents to the selection committee will not affect the competitive situation. Now events will develop on their own.
It will be necessary to activate when the competition lists are already complete. Before August 1, make a choice, take the originals of documents and write your consent for admission if you are in the first wave. If the second - then it is necessary to catch up to August 6th.
5. In August, flee to universities, where students are short of budget
I don’t want to think about it, but there is still a chance that you will not get to budget places in all five universities where the documents were referred. What to do then?
Many advise to take a closer look at universities, where in the second half of August an additional admission to the budgetary places of undergraduate and specialty will be announced. In the past (2017), for example, there was such a set at the Krasnoyarsk State Agrarian University, the International University in Moscow, the Orenburg State Agrarian University, the Crimean Federal University named after V.I. Vernadsky, and the Sevastopol State University.
Yes, the chance to use at least somehow your not very high USE scores and get the coveted student ID on the budget is, of course, attractive. But you don’t have to blindly go to the first university that you get, just to get a crust.
Think about it yourself, if a university has problems recruiting students even for free budget places, perhaps it has problems not only with attractiveness and status. Before you carry your documents for an additional set, find out in more detail why it was suddenly announced. By the way, a university that has problems with recruitment can be considered ineffective. And about this I wrote in detail in paragraph one.
