How to cope with stress

In my article "the Feeling of fear and anxiety in psychology" I wrote about the causes of fears, the signs and how to deal with them. In this article I want to develop the idea-fear is one of the main causes of stress. In principle, the disorder can serve anything that irritates and leads to frustration. This can also include internal problems of a person-low self-esteem, self-doubt, personal bias and dissatisfaction with their needs.

Stress, anxiety-it is always a response of the body to any stimuli. But the driving factor is the fear that arises when making important decisions, both in the personal sphere and in the work process. Try to count how many times a day, week, month you are faced with a dilemma? How do you react to your condition every time? Psychologists, empirically, calculated for a day a normal person experiences up to hundreds of microstresses! Almost every step and this is the norm. But, if the quantity and quality of your worries "rolls over" it results in stress, and irrational.

How to understand your condition and the presence of stress, the main signs:

- constant irritability and anxiety for no apparent reason;

- weakness of the whole body, laziness, inability to concentrate on anything;

- insomnia; - memory problems, forgetfulness;

- the desire to isolate themselves from society, to become invisible, withdrawal;

- tearfulness, pessimism, self-pity;

- eating disorders - either bulimia or refusal to eat;

- the emergence of bad habits: alcohol, Smoking, combing the skin, biting nails, etc.

Each individual is unique and inimitable, each in its own way can manifest symptoms of stress, but the result is always the same-the person loses life guidance, falls into a stupor and depression, sick, finally. In order not to come to such a sad state, you should identify the source of your fear, the problem of its occurrence.

Causes of stress

- fear of failure, making mistakes. But if you do nothing and do not take risks, the condition worsens even more. Arise obsessive thoughts "and if it were so," "and suddenly we would have", "maybe you should've tried" and so on, which lead to despair and stupor. Always talking to yourself, driving you crazy.

- the occurrence of unexpected obstacles, unforeseen circumstances, expenses, strange things and much more, depending on the type of activity and lifestyle. It is not necessary to spend forces for clarification of the events. Take it for granted, but then, each time you are going to do something, make a clear schedule and plan, create the right rhythm of work. Of course, no one will give you a guarantee that nothing unexpected will occur, but you will experience much less stress.

- problems in the family, with children, in personal and intimate life. This is an important component of every person, allowing you to live in harmony and be needed, in demand. Nature made us like this, no one can live alone in a vacuum. Therefore, we suffer from a lack of love, attention and care, forgetting that we often serve as a pretext for creating unfavorable situations. One has only to look at what is happening around from a different angle, with different eyes, a "miracle" can happen, and you will be heard, understood and recognized.

- unloved work, lack of money, excessive workload. Who among us has ever complained about all these points? These are temporary difficulties that can be solved by any adult and independent individual.

In principle, the causes of psychological stress can be as much as you want (loud noise from the street, screaming kids in the yard, an unpleasant conversation with the boss, etc.), everything is so individual and ambiguous that it is very difficult to generalize and bring everything into one table. But, if it is still impossible to determine the roots of a strange and frightening state of anxiety, you need the advice of a psychologist. In Moscow, in a huge metropolis, where every fourth person experiences a huge load on the psyche every day, there are a lot of specialists who can help and give the necessary recommendations.

How to overcome stress. Human psychology

- compulsory exercise, fitness, Jogging;

- proper and balanced nutrition, especially foods with vitamin b (rice, dried apricots, seeds);

- learn to breathe properly, it is necessary for concentration and tranquility;

- allocate sufficient time to communicate with family, friends;

- personal space, privacy; - various leisure activities-Hobbies (playing musical instruments, dancing, collecting);

- ability to abstract, focus on the main thing, not to be distracted by trifles;

- to be able to listen to criticism in his address, at least, to its greater part;

- cultivate willpower, control your emotions;

- be confident in yourself and your actions; - smile!

Do not drink alcohol in large quantities, does not help – this is the way to nowhere! It is important to understand-there is no ideal in anything! It is only necessary to properly motivate yourself and set clear goals, what I want to achieve and act!
