To create competition for the iPhone and other popular smartphones, the Chinese operating system OPhone OS was developed three years ago, which was seen on smartphones sold by China Mobile to its subscribers. OPhone OS was created on the basis of the well-known Android OS, in which the means of connecting to the China Mobile service were built. In 2010, a lot of devices based on OPhone OS were released, including well-known companies: Samsung, Lenovo, Sony Ericsson and Motorola. But today, the development of the operating system is stopped. OPhone OS did not have time to update to the latest version of Android, and therefore, new applications did not combine with it. In addition, the operator of China Mobile did not interest developers with the idea of creating applications for its operating system, many preferred the Android OS.
