SOUND

Knocking engine

THE BLOW-BY GASES
It is important to check the status of the motor. Here I remind you a little bit, after compression rings wear out, they can't hold compression. A larger amount of blow-by gases may break inside of the crankcase, respectively, the pressure increases.
The blow-by gases
If you Unscrew the cap head and put it on the neck, not spinning, these gases should not overturn. THAT is, it will be a bit to go (jump) from the stream of gases. BUT to overturn it they should not. So the wear and tear of the walls and rings is not so high and the compression inside the motor is normal.
Also when you leave the cap off on start motor, raise it. AT idle and warmed up the engine, you should not spill too much oil (a few drops, maybe), but not a fountain!
Also, for the neck, don't have to go blue as the muffler of the smoke, it speaks about a strong wear of the rings or the walls of the cylinder block. If it is slightly white smoke is normally blue – NO!
MUFFLER
Diagnosis of the internal combustion engine, in this method, banal and very simple. You need finger, put it in the muffler pipe and move along the walls.
The finger is a bit dirty, because the engine is running and still in the process of combustion. Will also be a little wet, because the muffler is condensation. BUT there should be a velvety black soot that almost poured out of the pipe. Or something even worse oily residue (that is, the finger will be in oil). If it is, then the wear of the power unit is very strong and to take it impossible.
BLUE SMOKE FROM THE MUFFLER
NOT white, not black (it's treated), namely blue smoke. More precisely, if you look at it it will have a bluish tinge.
This validation notes that the piston or the wall of the cylinder block is worn out. Oil ring is not removed from the walls of oil or it breaks in the combustion chamber is then burned with air-fuel mixture and goes to the muffler.

THE CONDITION OF THE OIL
WELL, the last point in our diagnosis — is the condition of the oil.
Pull the dipstick and look at it. RUB oil from the dipstick on your fingers. If the oil light is good, then – recently changed. If the oil is dark, but without any inclusions, this is normal. However, if there are black specks or shiny is not good.
Black say, about the bad oil may have rarely changed, or Lily of poor quality.
Shiny blotches can talk about the wear of the walls of the cylinder block or the ingress of particles of catalyst in oil.
Also need to twist off the head cover and check the inside of the head, Shine a flashlight in there, you can even include video with flash. Then watch this video if the head unit is more or less pure, then the Lily oil is good and changed it often. If there is a huge oil coating, it's bad, it indicates that the lubrication of the motor, watched bad.
