I turned 40 this year, guys. So, it turns out that I saw the Christmas tree forty times. That's a lot!

Well, the first three years of my life and probably didn't understand what a Christmas tree was. Mannerily, my mother carried me on her arms. And I guess I wasn't interested in looking at the decorated tree with my black eyes.

And when I was five years old, kids, I knew exactly what a tree was.

And I was looking forward to it. And even in the lye of the door, I peeked at my mother's Christmas tree decorations.

And my sister Lola was seven years old at the time. And she was an exceptionally perky girl.

  • She once told me:

- Minya, my mother left for the kitchen. Let's go to the room with the tree and see what's going on.

So Lelia and I went into the room. And we see: a very beautiful tree. And under the tree there are presents. And on the tree there are multicolored beads, flags, flashlights, gold nuts, pastilles and Crimean apples.

  • My sister Lelia says:

- Let's not look at presents. And instead, let's eat one pastilles each.

And now she comes up to the tree and instantly eats one pastilla hanging on a string.

  • I say:

- Lelia, if you ate a pastilla, I'm going to eat something too.

And I go up to the tree and bite off a little piece of apple.

  • Lela says:

- Minya, if you bit off an apple, I'm going to eat another pastilla and get myself some more of this candy.

And Lelia was such a tall, tall, tied girl. And she could reach high.

She got up on her chicks and started eating a second pastilla with her big mouth.

And I was surprisingly short. And I almost couldn't get anything but one apple that was hanging low.

  • I said:

- If you, Lelischa, ate the second pastilla, I'd bite that apple again.

Lelia says:

- If you bit off the apple for the second time, I won't ceremony anymore and now I'll eat the third pastilla, and I'll also take a pop and nut as a reminder.

Then I almost roared, because she could reach everything, and I couldn't.

  • I told her:

- And I, Lelischa, how I will put a chair to the tree and how I will get myself something other than an apple.

So I started pulling my skinny little hands to the tree. But the chair fell on me. I wanted to raise the chair. But he fell again. And right at the presents.

  • Lelia says:

- Minya, I think you broke the doll. It is. You stole a porcelain pen from the doll.

Here my mother's footsteps were heard, and Lela and I ran away to the other room.

  • Lelia says:

- Now, Minya, I can't guarantee that your mother won't wipe you out.

I wanted to roar, but at that moment the guests came. A lot of kids are with their parents.

And then our mom lit all the candles on the tree, opened the door, and said:

  • - Everybody come in.

And all the children entered the room where the tree was standing.

Our mother says:

- Now let every child come up to me, and I will give everyone a toy and a treat.

And so the children began to approach our mother. And she gave everyone a toy. Then she took off an apple tree, pastilles and candy and gave it to the child.

  • And all the children were very happy. Then Mom picked up the apple I bit off and said:

- Lela and Minka, come here. Which one of you two bit off that apple?

  • Lelia said:

- It's Minkin's job.

  • I pulled Lelia's braid and said:

- Lelka taught me that.

  • My mother said:

- I'll put my nose in the corner of Lelu, and I wanted to give you a winding train. But now I'm going to give this winding locomotive to the boy I wanted to give him a bite apple.

And she took the train and gave it to one four-year-old boy. And he immediately started playing with it.

And I got mad at that boy and hit him on the arm with a toy. And he roared so desperately that his own mother took him on her hands and said:

- From now on, I will not come to visit you with my boy.

  • And I said:

- You can leave, and then the train will stay for me.

  • And that mother was surprised by my words and said:

- Probably your boy will be a robber.

Christmas tree story

And that's when my mom took me on her hands and told that mom

- Don't you dare say that about my boy. You'd better go with your golden baby and never come to us again.

  • And that mother said:

- I will do so. To hang out with you was to sit in a nettle.

  • And then another one, the third mother said:

- And I will leave too. My girl didn't deserve to be given a doll with her arm broken off.

  • And my sister Lelia screamed:

- You can leave with your golden child too. And then a doll with a broken arm will stay with me.

  • And then I, sitting on my mother's hands, shouted:

- In general, you can all go, and then all the toys will stay with us.

And then all the guests began to leave.

And our mother was surprised that we were left alone.

But suddenly our dad walked into the room.

  • He said:

- This kind of upbringing ruins my children. I don't want them fighting, fighting, and kicking out guests. It will be hard for them to live in the world and they will die alone.

  • And Dad came up to the tree and put out all the candles. Then he said:

- Go to bed immediately. And tomorrow I will give all the toys to the guests.

And so, guys, it's been thirty-five years since then, and I still remember this tree well.

And in all these thirty-five years, I, the kids, have never eaten another man's apple again, and I have never hit anyone who is weaker than me. And now the doctors say I'm so relatively cheerful and good-natured.
