Tourists go to Malkhas Jazz, which is not shameful at all, but the locals prefer a more conservative and homely Forsh Club. If today Vahan Gevorgyan himself (aka Forsh) plays, then the entrance will be taken symbolic € 5-10, if young talents - will be allowed free of charge. Prices for cocktails and snacks are not too high - average in the city.
By the way, if the local jazz has caught on, you can throw a couple of other performers into the playlist: the Soviet orchestra of Konstantin Orbelian; the more experimental Kolida Babo and Viken Arman, which have already become classics of Armenian Navy Band and Time Report.

Another old-school nature reserve that opened a year ago. It is the largest vinyl shop in Yerevan with garage surroundings and regular sets. The bar is usually full in the evening, but there is also a restaurant. It's calmer here, but also more expensive. Soup prices start at €3, the main courses at €7. From entertainment: you can talk to the bartender about Serge Tankian. This theme is inexhaustible.

Another cherished place for a tired traveler is very close. The doors of the Dalan Art Gallery overlook the main street, where you will find designer souvenirs (sculptures, jewelry, ceramic plates) or watch an art exhibition. And if you want to eat and relax, go through the gallery and you'll find yourself in a lovely shady garden with a restaurant, cafe and tea room. At the weekend in the evening, there is a total movement: the waiters are just exhausted. It is optimal to look here for lunch, to taste good Armenian cuisine. The most interesting soup is that it was saved. For the second-order grilled fish and eggplant tabulae. Plus pomegranate wine or cornelian compote. For such a set you will pay about € 13.

Not far from here in a solid house of pink tuff hides the former workshop of the "Armenian Picasso" - the artist and sculptor Yervand Kochar. Kochar is exhibited at the Pompidou Centre in Paris, but at home, his museum is not as well promoted as, for example, the museums of Sergei Paradzhanov and Martiros Saryan. The collection is not so big - for half an hour and € 3 you will have time to consider everything. But you will have a lot more fun.

The most popular antique cafe in Yerevan. The entrance is slightly more than a dollar before 18.00 and slightly more than two after. Coffee and snacks are gratis. You can take the rest of the food with you. And also laptops, backgammon or knitting needles. A place near the crowded Northern Avenue, but clearly for their own. You can't figure it out from the street if you don't know. When you enter the yard, look for the yellow wall.
Jazzve
These guys started with one cafe at the waiting station, now it's a small net with excellent coffee on the sand. There are several points in the center - behind the Opera (the noisiest and pathos), on Tumanyan Street, 35/30 and Teryan Street, 83 (these are more quiet). Coffee is strong, beans are not sorry, the drink is stewed for about 10 minutes. Served on the table in the same copper jezveh as cooked. The main thing is not to make a mistake with the correct name: "Turkish coffee" sounds categorically incorrect. It is necessary to order coffee in Armenian. A portion will cost about a dollar, but it will be difficult to refuse another one. In Jazzve it is possible to have a snack, but there are few people who go here for it.
