- The first part is the "ported" versions of famous computer games (Starcraft, Warcraft, Civilization, Age of Empires, Master of Orion, Doom)

- The second part is games that are interesting to many people.

- Topic will be interesting to those who want to understand what is popular in the market, to see briefly the product for the store and those who are just interested in what is there at all from board games for themselves, the company or as a gift.

1. Twilight of the Empire is a game that was prepared according to the first Master of Orion, but, roughly speaking, the authors failed to reach an agreement with the rights holders and get a license to use original races and names. As a result, we get the same Master of Orion, but without Silicoids with square nest thinking and Psilons with their funny science. Instead, other square nests, other very clever and other "trade negotiations", trying to capture the planet in the center of the sector. Great emphasis in the game is made on diplomacy and tactics of battles: thanks to the developed system of negotiations it is possible to solve very, very many issues peacefully ... and to give the company an opportunity not to get bored, but to discuss lively what is happening during the tactical actions of opponents. The game was reissued three times: in 2005, a version was released that was localized with us. The game in it lasts not 10-12 hours, but only 3-4 hours. The process as a whole is a simulator of actions of the star emperor. "Twilight" is sold to hardcore players and all those who love everything cosmic and fantastic. Refers to the category of quite rare in the shops of games.

On the box you can look into the eyes of all races of the Empire.

2. Large recognizable Starcraft. In short, it is a detailed enough arrangement of the strategy in the desktop form, released in the epic times of the first Old Kraft. The aesthetics and atmosphere of the original game is preserved completely, the gameplay has changed in the direction of greater study of infrastructure and logistics and less detail of battles. The two-dimensional playing field is equipped with a system of "three-dimensional" transitions, resulting in "barricade" does not come out: you have to constantly move to win - lock in the defense rarely happens. The game is sold thanks to the trick of the first version and 180 chips units inside.

3. The second largest is Warcraft, a strategy for the world of Azeroth. Lots of figures, lots of cards, lots of cubes, thick rules. There is also a smaller box about adventure, where you need to play for a separate hero - it's a friendly short multiplayer, but it only kills in the evening, not a couple of years. We now use these games as one of the flagship calculations to attract passing gamers inside the departments in the mall. The game is sold as well as Starcraft - thanks to the famous brand. Gaming processes are similar, but more popular series of Warcraft is easier than Starcraft.

4. Train ticket - if someone remembers an ancient toy from the first Pentium times Railroad Tycoon - it's a process (not mechanics and not brand), it's very simple and in paper. It is necessary to build railroads, connecting certain cities and interfering with competitors. Quiet, relaxed and pleasant thing, which is cool to play in the family or as a guest. Sold as a family game, often goes in the role of a party. Despite the seeming simplicity, it is very exciting. The publisher produces not the first box, changing maps and types of trains.

While underdeveloped infrastructure of railways

5. Roborally - here you need to program the robot. Implemented very cool: there are command cards, memory stacks, different cool robot figures and a factory map. Cards are put on the stack, and then start to be executed in reverse order - and the robot at this time does as you said, not as you wanted. The overall goal is to win the robot race at the factory: you can quickly go through all the circles, collecting the bonuses and checkpoints, or you can carefully deal with your opponents. Given that the situation on the field changes right during the execution of the stack, it is necessary to think very seriously that there are the robots of the opponents by the third measure. It's cool that if the robot is damaged, it starts to glitch.

Robots. They are cool. The second is very similar to the character from "Terminator"

At the time of creation, programming contests like Robocode (only older) were already popular and, accordingly, we have a desktop allusion to them. The game was released by Richard Garfield, the mathematician who later blew up the world of board games by inventing Magic: the Gathering.

I still have a lot of these stories in my piggy bank, so don't turn off.
