A selection of movies for programmers

This article will give you a brief overview of a few films that I think will be of interest to programmers and IT professionals. Some of them touch upon programming, others almost none, but I liked them all in general.
In this article, I will look at five films, all of them I have watched, so I will briefly write my opinion about everyone. If you know of any other movies that you think would be interesting to watch for people working in the IT industry, write in the comments, I would be glad to hear it. So, let's get started.
JOBS: EMPIRE OF TEMPTATION (2013)
A film about a great man, genius, founders of Apple, Pixar, NeXT - Steve Jobs. In two hours, the film tells a very short story about this man's life. Because of the conciseness of the film, some important moments slip away, but I liked the film as a whole.

I think it would be nice to read more about Steve before or even after watching the movie, so it would be easier to understand, for example, if I listened to an audiobook by Steve Jobs (Walter Isaacson) that described Jobs' life in more detail before watching the movie.

As I have written before, despite the brevity of the film, I liked it and especially the ending is very motivating.

The trailer is great, I thought the movie would be the same, I was expecting something more, but it turned out to be very tight, so don't count on anything great, even if you like the trailer, just like me.

SOCIAL NETWORK (2010)

I think it's the best movie I've ever seen, of course, it's just my opinion, I like this type of movie. This is the story of the largest social network in the world of Facebook. In the two hours that the film is going on, it tells us how Harvard University student Mark Zuckerberg, walking over the heads of friends and acquaintances, has created a "Mahina" of the world scale and has become the youngest billionaire in the world. Of course, the director of the film has embellished this story for more interest, but it was worth it to me.

The film was created by the famous director David Fincher. The music and actors (Jesse Eisenberg as Mark Zuckerberg, Andrew Garfield as Eduardo Saverin, Justin Timberlake as Sean Parker, and others) were selected for the film in an amazing way, plus the slogan for the film was an amazing one: "You can not make 500 million friends without making any enemies. It feels like David Fincher is Steve Jobs, just in the movies, everything is thought out in detail, this is the approach I like.
The trailer is great, but the voices are mixed up. In the trailer, Zuckerberg speaks in Eduardo's voice, in the movie the other way round.

PERSONNEL (2013)

This movie, unlike the rest of the movies that are covered here, is a comedy and is not based on real events, but it is still quite interesting, when watching it you can relax. It tells how two vendors, with hanging languages and no idea of IT, get into the internship at Google. Of all the trainees, only a few will be hired and various competitions and competitions are held to choose the best ones. That's where all the fun begins... I think there's no point in telling more, or it won't be interesting to watch. I liked the film and I envy those who haven't seen it yet, the second time to watch it is not interesting.

A good trailer and the main thing is funny. The film is the same as the trailer, I advise you to see, even those who work in the field of IT will be interested in it.

PIRATES OF THE SILICON VALLEY (1999)

An old but pretty good movie, starring Steve Jobs (founder of Apple) and Bill Gates (founder of Microsoft). It tells how these two great, different people began their journey. Events in the film are developing very quickly, but it is impossible to tell in detail about several years in an hour and a half, so in general, it is normal. I haven't found a poster and trailer suitable for this article, so I just advise you to watch the movie.

FIFTH POWER (2013)

A film about the scandalously famous Julian Assange, who is the founder of the website WikiLeaks.org. Who doesn't know WikiLeaks.org is a not-for-profit website that contains classified information. In fact, the film tells how the WikiLeaks project was created, how secret documents were posted, and how the U.S. authorities wanted to prevent the dissemination of such information in every way possible.
A trailer is much better than a movie, by the way, it often happens, after watching it I expected something more from the movie.

So far, these are all the films I advise programmers to watch.
