What is the method of

Medics have not only reduced the size of the incision required to remove the cataract. It was reduced to 1 and 1.5 mm. Scientists have eliminated the need to use ultrasound. They also invented and made a model of the lens. Introduced new surgical instruments, which are themselves developed. Vacuum is used to remove lens fragments. The operation takes five to ten minutes. The recovery period does not take more than a day. After all, with a smaller incision and a shorter recovery period.

Whose development

We proposed a new method, as already mentioned, in Nizhny Novgorod. Namely in Nizhny Novgorod State Academy. Therewith already the second decade spend operations with micro cut, for what artificial lens, special toolkit for work with micro cut are created and patented.

To introduce the method everywhere, alas, for today speech does not go. In Russia for such operations simply there is no necessary tool. So far only Nizhny Novgorod citizens are lucky. And they have also developed revolutionary methods of glaucoma treatment there.
