Cartoon villains are a priori considered bad characters. But no one is even trying to get into their position to find out why they became so? Nobody is born evil, and everyone has their own motive. And it is worth noting that the anger of many characters is fully justified. Let's look at those cartoon villains who were essentially right.
Hyenas (Lion King)
Hyenas in the popular cartoon "The Lion King" are shown to us as villains. And we are happy when they give them in the ass. But why? After all, Mufasa himself said that everyone is equal and everyone is useful. Why, then, are hyenas initially considered outcasts who are forced to live in some kind of ghetto?
Hyenas are essentially the same important animals for the food chain. I am not personally surprised that they have become so vicious. And Scar only took advantage of this situation and subjugated the poor creatures, promising them a better life.
Sher Khan (Mowgli)
The main villain of the cartoon "The Jungle Book" is a tiger named Sher Khan. Initially, a large wild cat wants to tear to pieces a human cub, but receives resistance from other animals that stood up for Mowgli.
But if you look, then the tiger has reason to hate Mowgli, or rather the entire human race for what they did to him and his appearance. Yes, any normal person would be ready to avenge this.
Hades (Hercules)
Hades is the God of the underworld in ancient Greek mythology. He does exactly the same job in the Disney movie. And in the cartoon, he is presented to us as the main villain. And in principle, it can be understood.
A brother sent him somewhere to the very bottom to listen to the cries of the dead, while he himself and the rest of the Gods live happily on Olympus. Of course, the brother from the underworld harbored a grudge against him.
Prospector (Toy Story 2)
Initially, the Prospector appears to us as a kind old man from the same collection as Woody himself. Only then the terrible truth is revealed that in reality this old man is a real traitor.
But no matter how much the viewers hated him, he was not in principle bad. He just wanted to be loved and appreciated, because he had been lying in a box all his life and no one was buying it. And when he was given a chance to go to Japan and become a real Star, then his eyes just lit up. But there is one BUT. The Japanese need the whole collection, and without Woody and the rest, no one will need it. Of course, he will try to stop the arrogant cowboy at all costs. So his actions are justified.
Gaston (Beauty and the Beast)
Gaston, of course, is a narcissistic and rude type who is used to the fact that he always gets his own. This repels not only Belle from him, but all the spectators.
But if you think about it, then in fact he is not a robber, not a gangster and his plans do not include the conquest of the world. He just wants to kill a monster that he considers dangerous.
Isma (Emperor's Adventures)
The witch Isma knows Emperor Cuzco as a child and has been his adviser all her life. But when he fired her, the old woman’s nerves could not stand it. Therefore, she wanted to take revenge on the emperor. Admit to yourself, for sure you yourself would gladly do a dirty trick to your boss.
Captain Hook (Peter Pan)
Captain Kryuk would not have hunted for Peter Pan like that if he had not chopped off his hand and fed the crocodile. In the end, the goal of the captain was precisely the capture of Peter Pan. Just revenge.
