"Кино" is one of the most popular Soviet rock bands of the 1980s. Leader and author of almost all texts and music invariably remained Viktor Tsoi, after whose death the team, which released a total of more than 100 songs on studio albums for nine years, several compilations and live recordings, as well as a large number of unofficial bootlegs, ceased to exist.
The thematic component of the lyrics at the early stage of creativity reflects the teenage routine and dramatic feelings about love, thanks to which the musicians were awarded the title of “new romantics”; in later texts, heroism and protest are combined with the tragedy of the worldview.
“Группа крови” is the song of the group “Kino” from the album of the same name. In the playlist of the album takes the first place. The song premiered on June 3, 1987 at the Fifth Festival of the Leningrad rock club, but according to eyewitnesses, the audience took the song cold, maybe because everyone was waiting for hits that were already known at that time. During the performance at the festival, as a part of the group, together with four musicians of the group “Kino” were their familiar artists Sergey “Africa” Bugayev at the drums, and Andrei Krisanov with a bass guitar.
