A: It is permitted to import or export cash and/or traveler's checks without customs declaring if the total amount of cash and/or traveler’s checks is 10.000 US dollars or less by exchange rate in the day of export. Both Russian and foreign citizens should declare cash and/or traveler's checks if the total value of them is more than 10.000 US dollars. Money on the credit or debit cards aren’t subject to declaring, regardless of their amount. You don’t have to declare cards themselves either.
