Project pivot: From AI software to smart clothing

In the previous post, we have introduced our first project idea — DeckRobot software for automatic slide design based on Artificial Intelligence. However, after the team discussion and proper idea evaluation, we decided to switch from B2B-focused solution to less specific consumer product.

So we are excited to introduce our new project idea – smart clothing concept for the Russian market! The product of our choice is Levi's® Commuter X Jacquard By Google – a casual jeans jacket with some unique features for a modern city commuter. Our project goal is to provide recommendations on how to market Commuter X Jacquard to Russian customers.

Why is this jacket so special? It allows you to control the music, navigate in the city, remember the places you visit, receive alerts and listen to messages on-the-go and more. All that can be easily done with fully customizable gestures.

Commuter X Jacquard was created using touch-sensitive Jacquard™ Threads with a copper core in the sleeves. Jacquard™ snap tag connects the jacket to mobile phone and Jacquard™ app via Bluetooth. And once the tag is removed, you can wash Commuter just like a regular piece of clothing.
