Meaning:
- to follow.
Example: - He went after me.
go back
Meaning:
- to return
Example: - It started to rain, so we decided to go back.
go before
Meaning:
- to precede
Example: - The present crisis is worse than any that have gone before
go down
Meanings:
- to decrease
- to sink or crash
- to be defeated in a contest (lose)
- be recorded or remembered in a particular way.
Example:
- The ship went down in a storm.
- They went down 2–1.
- His name will go down in history.
go on
Meaning:
- to continue
- to happen
Examples:
- Please, go on.
- We still don't know what went on there.
go over
Meanings:
- consider, examine, or check (something).
- change one's allegiance or religion.
Examples:
- I want to go over these plans with you again.
- He went over to orthodox.
go through
Meanings:
- experience ( undergo (a difficult period or experience). )
- to penetrate
- to search through or examine methodically
- (of a proposal or contract) be officially approved or completed.
Examples:
- The country is going through a period of economic instability
- Tunnels that go through deep into the earth's core
- He went through hard period in his life.
go up
Meaning:
- to increase
-to explode or suddenly burst into flames
Examples:
- Oil fares are going up again.
- Two factories went up in flames.
keep on
Meanings:
- to continue
Example:
- He kept on moving.
keep up (also keep up with)
Meanings:
- to remain current
- to continue
- to move or progress at the same rate as someone or something else (keep pace)
Examples:
- Often they had to pause to allow him to keep up.
- If you do not keep up with the payments, the loan company can make you sell your home
leave out
Meanings:
- exclude
- omit
Example:
- She feels left out because the other children don’t play with her.
- You left out the best part of the story.
look for
Meanings:
- to seek, search
- to catch in an offense (such as a crime)
Examples:
- the culprits were soon found out
- we found out a new element. it's appropriate replacement for palladium
look into
Meaning: - to investigate
Example: - Sherlock Holmes looked into those terrified murder

Meaning: - предшествовать

Meanings:
- Уменьшать
- Утонуть, разбиться (крушение, падение)
- быть побежденным в конкурсе (проиграть)

Meaning:
- Продолжать

Examples:

Meanings:

Examples:

Meanings:

Meaning:
- увеличить

keep on
Meanings:
- Продолжать
Example:
- He kept on moving. - Он продолжал двигаться.
keep up (also keep up with)
Meanings:
- оставаться актуальным, быть осведомленным
- продолжать
- двигаться или прогрессировать с той же скоростью, что и кто-то или что-то еще
Examples:

Meanings:
