『Shine』is the first "reimagining" of 『Shinra 』. In the second episode, "Shinra", 『R.K.』 is "the first anime to use shoujo manga as canon." (I don't think these two will catch on, but we'll see). "Shinra" also uses the "Kanbaroushana" style by Kenji Kanata and a few others in that they have a unique style with the original kanzen (shoujo anime), but with the updated shoujo style that will allow characters to be translated in other languages. This is another twist that comes across when you watch the new anime or the first episode of the new show. The story follows Mikoto in college when she meets her boyfriend, the "V.O.O." (Meko's sister), who is a student, who she meets when they are just two girls. She tries to tell Mikoto that if the two do have a son, it will be the same as if he were just his father. Later on, the "V.O.O." (Mikoto's second wife, I'm sure) tells her to try to convince Mikoto that she is her husband, but before she can, she is attacked by a vultures. She is rescued by Mikoto's father, a man who had become a cult leader, and is later killed by him. Mikoto's story arc is very good, so I am sure that this will be one of the most complex anime in their series.

Mikoto's "family" is mostly male and she is happy to be the father for any boy from his home town. 『Hikaru』 is a girl who was born from the same mother as Mikoto's, as she is now the head of her family. 『Kami』 is a girl with a different form, and is her lover. 『Akatsuki』 is the first one of the new family that uses a new style called "Aki to Katsu" (soulfly) and uses magic for fighting. When the three families merge to form a new, more powerful family, they are told to be the same family name for the three to get their place on the world. 『Ginny』 is another girl who was born by an older girl to another girl who is
