From April 29, 2019, S7 Airlines will start flights from Pulkovo to the Italian island of Sardinia. The flights will be operated to the city of Olbia and will become a novelty in the new schedule of St. Petersburg air harbor.
The flights of S7 Airlines from Pulkovo to Sardinia will be performed on Mondays and Fridays. "On Mondays, departure from Pulkovo Airport is at 09:35, arrival in Olbia - at 12:35 local time. The return flight departs at 13:35 and arrives in St. Petersburg at 18:30. Departure from St. Petersburg on Fridays will be on an hour earlier - at 08:35, arrival in Sardinia is at 11:35 local time. Return flight - at 12:35, arriving in Pulkovo at 17:30. The flights will be operated by Airbus A319 aircraft,” reported the press service of Pulkovo.
Also in the summer season of 2019, S7 Airlines will operate regular flights from St. Petersburg on five new flight routes: to Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca (Spain), Nice (France), Anapa and Irkutsk. Taking into account the new routes, in 2019 the geography of flights of the carrier from Pulkovo will include 21 destinations.
Recall that travel agents of St. Petersburg previously told that they had expected more from the winter season. Tourist retail in the region noted a significant drop in sales due to a general decline in demand, the lack of direct flights to Egypt, as well as the optimization of flight charter programs to a number of popular destinations.
