How to make it in Finland

Great Finnish music

Finland is also known by amout of wonderful bands, especially in rock music. I know them for so long and I'd like to share my favourite top-3 :) 1. The Rasmus These guys started off as energetic teenagers playing funk. Later they became a stylish rock band with deep lyrics. In 2004 there were few places in the world where they would not play their song “In the Shadows” on the radio, the single from the album Dead Letters, which became an international hit. 2. Sunrise Avenue This band from the city of Espoo has won the hearts of millions with its melodious pop rock. In recent years, they have become one of the most frequently heard commands on German radio stations. The composer and soloist knows how to touch the deepest feelings with his more-than-life style ballads. "Fairytale Gone Bad" is definately my favourite! 3. HIM It's not a post about Finnish music if you don't mention that band. Playing in the actually invented style “love metal,” HIM is a rock band in its classic image. The

3. HIM

It's not a post about Finnish music if you don't mention that band. Playing in the actually invented style “love metal,” HIM is a rock band in its classic image. The soloist and songwriter Ville Valo has a decadent charisma, and the musicians on the background of his frontman give out one memorable riff after another. Totally worth hearing.

P.S.: Apocalyptica is also good :)
