Russian girl in Finnish world

I love Finland for... (part 1)

Оглавление

As I have already said several times, I have already been to Finland and had enough time to love it for certain things. Here I will tell what these things are.

First of all, SHOPPING

I love shopping and here in Finland I can do it cheaper than in my home-city and it's all about my two favourite things - TAX free and Invoice! These two things get me possibility to buy the same items as I can buy back home but cheaper and it can be applied to everything: clothes, shoes, electronic devices and even food. The only condition is that I should spend more than 40 euros at one store which is not so difficult ;)
What makes me love shopping in Finland more, that here I can find one of my favourite shops - Lindex, that, unfortunately, has left Russian market.

Angry Birds!!!

Should I say something more? I think I love all the things that represent them - games (of course), attributes, theme parks and even movies! And if it wasn't hard and thorough work of Rovio company, the world would have never known these funny and cool characters. My favourite bird is Bomb, and yours?

Sweets and chocolates

Every time we go to Finland and before leaving, we always buy local chocolates and marmalades by Fazer, because they are so tasty! I think I will never had enough.

Skiing

My parents are like skiing so much. During winter times they go skiing every weekend, I don't lie! In my city there are some skiing tracks, but they are not of so good quality. So, we love coming to Finland during our winter holidays and do skiing here together because here, in Finland, tracks are amazing! Moreover, they all have lights, so they are all lightened and you can do skiing in any hour.
By the way, I remember that around 2 years ago there nearly was no snow and my family was confused should we take skis with us to Finland because if there is no snow, how should we ski? And how amazed I was when I found out that Finns brought some snow from other district and made up a half of the track so people can ski!
