T-28 – three-turret Soviet medium tank of the interwar period. It developed in the years 1930-1932 by engineers Tank Tractor VOAO design bureau under the guidance of A. Ginzburg. T-28 is the first in the USSR medium tank, launched in mass production. In the period from 1933 to 1940 by the Leningrad Kirov factory it was released 503 copies of T-28.
