In France, where the Renault Clio, the Peugeot 208 and the Citroën C3 carve out a place of choice in the race for best sellers, we appreciate even more than elsewhere the versatile city cars. That is, small vehicles about 4 m long, able to easily sneak into the urban jungle, but also to leave without fear for air using the expressways.
Over time, the Clio has become bogged down, especially in its interior layout, much more qualitative than in a time not so distant. For its part, the dynamic and aggressive 208 has entered the fourth dimension, with its 3D dashboard and futuristic lighting.t the C3 ? More discreet, less techno than its two rivals, the best-selling Citroën keeps more than ever the title envied of the most comfortable city. This was already the case in 2016, when the new generation of C3, a little larger and less round than the previous one, offered remarkable driving comfort.
From 2 to 15 mm thick
This is even more true with this C3 with a slightly modified exterior style (we go from seven to three protective airbumps on the sides, appearance of LED front lights connected to the grille by a chrome ring). The main reason for this always topical supremacy when it comes to comfort ? Seats (called Advanced Comfort, already tested on larger models, such as the C4 Cactus and the C5 Aircross) with a so-called "Welcome" foam, flexible and located just under the upholstery, whose thickness has increased from 2 to 15 mm.
