— О-0-о! — cried Братец Кролик.- Я слишком heavy для тебя, ты не сможешь to throw me достаточно далеко.
Лис схватил Кролика, the Tar-Baby упал на землю.
— Ты хочешь сказать, что я недостаточно strong? Tолько посмотри! — сказал Лис.
И он swings pyкой и бросает Кролика in the middle of the bush.
Потом он began смотреть. А что will happen c Братцем Кроликом?
Глядь - а там братец Кролик сидит оn a log и чистит свою шерсть with a chip.
Again Лис остался в дураках. А Братец Кролик начал to sing:
— Колючий bush - мой дом, Братец Лис! Колючий bush -мой дом! Братец Кролик јumped и исчез.
again - снова
began - начал
bush - буш, кустарник, чаща
chip - щепка
cried - заплакал
heavy - тяжелый
in the middle of the bush - в самую гущу куста
on a log — на бревне
swings — взмахнул
Tar-Baby — смоляной болван
to sing - петь
to throw me -бросить
will happen - (что] будет
with a chip - (чистит шерсть] щепочкой
jumped - прыгнул.
О-о-oh! - Brother Rabbit cried. -l am too heavy for you, you will not be able to throw me far enough.
Fox grasped the Rabbit, the Tar-Baby fell on the ground. Do you say that I'm not strong enough?
Just look! - the Fox said. And he swings his arm and throws the Rabbit in the middle of the bush. Then he began to look. What will happen to Brother Rabbit? Lo and behold Brother Rabbit is sitting on a log and cleaning his fur with a chip. Again the Fox was duped. And Brother Rabbit began to sing: A thorny bush is my home, Brother Fox! A thorny bush is my home! Brother Rabbit jumped and was gone.
