Aston Villa halts plans to sign Milot Rashica from SV Werder Bremen

Premier League outfit Aston Villa has pressed the “pause button” to moves concerning SV Werder Bremen star Milot Rashica in the summer.

According to Birmingham Mail, as cited by Fussball Transfers, Aston Villa is not willing to pay Bremen’s demands. According to the report, Rashica’s salary is too much for the club to pay at the moment.

The Bundesliga side’s valuation of the 24-year old attacker is expected to be in the region of 4.4 million euros. This high demand has left the Villans with no choice but to opt-out of the transfer of the Bundesliga attacker.

Aston Villa on the other hand is willing to pay over 22 million euros for Rashica. But, the demands from his club remains a big problem.

The Bremen hitman was is also a wanted man at RB Leipzig has been facing an uncertain future since the end of last season with the Saxony based club showing interest in Rashica as a possible replacement for Timo Werner.
