The march of the German pows ww2 held in July 17, 1944. On the Garden Ring and other streets of Moscow have been about 57,000 pows ww2 – German soldiers and officers (including 19 generals), mostly captured in Belarus by the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Belorussian Fronts. For columns of pows ww2 followed watering machines, symbolically washing away the grime of the Nazis from Russian streets.
