Gender equality

Gender inequality is one of the most important problems of humanity, which was formed according to scientists more than 6000 years ago (Kraemer, 1991, p.377). This problem manifests itself through unfounded bias that discriminates against people based on gender. “Ahmed (2006) cites a survey by Friends of Education that found that ‘‘over half of the illustrations depict [solely] men and boys...and only six percent show [solely] women and girls.” In the six primary school texts for mathematics not a single woman is shown as a shopkeeper, a merchant, an executive, an engineer, or a seller" (as cited in Blomberg, 2009, p.349). From the research conducted to identify the reasons for this attitude towards women, a group of psychological scientists found that role-based parenting in the family is the main cause of this problem (Steiner, 1972). This situation occurs if the family is dominated by the idea that boys should behave like men, that is, be extremely rational without showing emotions, and girls at the same time are taught that home is more important than career, and to be emotional is preferable to rational. Children raised in such families there is aggression in the observation of deviations in the behavior that causes the manifestation of gender inequality. Which is actively supported by girls. The solution to this problem can be to point out people's biases, as well as to serve as a role model. The consequence of adopting this model of behavior is to improve relationships in the team, to interact more productively, and to gain a new perspective on a variety of problems. The possible consequences of universal equality for humanity can be an incredible leap in the development of science, so there will be freedom for women scientists, and the economy, because a very large number of world-class specialists remain at the bottom of the working hierarchy only because of their status. The uniqueness of these advantages in the 21st century does not raise questions, but unfortunately, we must admit that society is moving too slowly forward.
