I don’t care where you stand socially, politically, nationally. It doesn’t matter to me if you are an atheist, a Christian, a Muslim, or a Satanist. You can dress any way you feel fit, eat meat or veggies, color your hair or be all natural, be 5 years old or 50, come from any cultural background, live as a fitness freak or a fast food junkie, be a criminal or a saint, make a career or raise ten kids as a housewife, or be all these other thousands of things in between...
I don’t care much about all this stuff. It doesn’t define real humans. These are LABELS, socio-cultural labels people associate with and implement in their lives while struggling with their own self-identification. These labels are NOT who we truly are, and they can change any second - if we so desire. They are like clothes, layers of covers we all hide ourselves in because we are too lazy or too scared or too stupid to face our true selves.
What I care about is HUMANITY, a Human Being deep in there, someone who is truly ALIVE. Being a “republican” or a “democrat” is not who you are. Being pro or against abortion, gay rights, covid restrictions, legalization of drugs IS NOT who you are. A billion other things that we stuff our heads with are not who we are. You are not your hobbies, your video games, the books you read, the films you watch. All those things are PROGRAMS created by the System to create and modify a controllable creature out of a truly free, living Human.
We are all in there, but it’s difficult to discover and revive ourselves.
Next time when you talk or argue to someone, ask yourself: Am I talking to a living person, or am I now communicating with a programmed set of replies? What about myself? Am I thinking and talking now, or is something else doing it for me?
The next time you say “hi”, or sit down by someone, or hold their hand, or drink coffee together - take a moment to stop the mumbo-jumbo in your mind and body and try to really FEEL that other person hiding inside all the concepts, principles, and ideas about what life is and who we are.
