Do you still cook with sunflower oil?

What do you think is the best oil to fry? Most will probably answer out of habit, "in sunflower". However, in fact, refined olive oil is the best for frying! There are many other refined oils that can be used for cooking, but I will talk about them in my next articles.

Olive oil is a natural product. It has been produced and consumed for thousands years. It is especially widely used in European countries, because olives grow there. Thanks to them I learned that refined olive oil is ideal for frying, as it has a high thermal stability. It is used for high-temperature processing of products without harm to health. When heated to 220 degrees Celsius, it does not decompose, unlike other vegetable oils, such as sunflower, in this regard, it can be reused, of course, provided that it is handled correctly: after heat treatment, the oil must be filtered through cheesecloth or a special paper filter, then placed in glass-ceramic or enamel dishes for further use.

If you cook with refined olive oil, the nutritional properties of the prepared product do not deteriorate, because the oil practically does not penetrate it, forming an appetizing Golden crust. Food cooked with olive oil is easily absorbed by the human body and does not even harm its figure. Try not to pour too much oil on the pan, as when heated, the oil increases in volume, in addition the dish becomes quite greasy. Also, during the frying process, you need to constantly make sure that the oil is hot, but there is shouldn’t be any smoke process!

Now you know that it is best to use refined olive oil for cooking, rather than sunflower oil. Add olive oil to your daily diet, making it more interesting, tastier and richer!
