The solution to hunger is not complex. It requires only the will of human beings in power to implement it. The answer lies in providing people with a source of income and food, for free.
There are many possible sources of income, but the most obvious is land. Land, of course, already belongs to everyone and so it would not be stealing from others. The state could provide each citizen with a plot of land.
The other source of income could be a share in the profits from a factory. The state would have to own all land and factories, but the profits from labor or renting out units of these facilities could go directly into citizens’ bank accounts.
The state could also provide food, either directly or by subsidizing prices. The two sources of income would combine to give a citizen enough money to buy their own food. This is the solution I recommend.
If a government implemented the solution to hunger, it could be easily and quickly done. It would take only an act of political will.
Humans are not by nature greedy and selfish. Instead, they have the potential to be generous and kind.
