Greening results in Pakistan

Many countries suffer from deforestation, and Pakistan is no exception. A few years ago, the authorities, together with "green" organizations, came up with the project 10 Billion Tree Tsunami. Last year, they started implementing it, and recently they have shown results that are staggering: it is difficult to imagine that such lifeless territories could change so much.

The project aims to breathe life into the dead land. Pakistan has a large number of territories that have been turned into a lifeless desert due to human activity. It was here that we decided to plant vegetation and trees. And you know, people often take many years to come to some simple things, but nature is much stronger: in just a year it can change everything around.
It had been a barren land for years, but it only took twelve months for the landscape to change! Now it is a thriving green area, planted with grass and trees.

By the way, the project received a huge wave of negativity. The organizers were accused of everything: embezzlement of funds, futility of actions, corruption and money laundering - however, thanks to these photos, we can say with confidence that the project is on the right track, and the planet, and therefore humanity, definitely benefits from it.

Trees protect the soil from degradation and help regulate moisture levels not only in fields, but even on private farms and vegetable gardens. So forests actually mitigate flooding, and also make the soil and surrounding areas more diverse in vegetation and inhabitants. If there are forests around, then crops become more resistant to droughts, rains and other extreme weather conditions. So the results will be very productive: the land will become more fertile, there will be new farmland and, consequently, jobs. Therefore, such a simple initiative as planting trees, in General, will have a very beneficial effect on human activity and life.

As part of the 10 Billion Tree Tsunami project, Pakistan plans to plant 10 billion trees over five years in the regions most affected by drought. Also, plantings will appear near cities, because around many localities in Pakistan there is a lifeless desert. This year, we have already planted more than 20 thousand hectares, and since the beginning of the project - 350 thousand hectares, but everything is still ahead
