The film "Outpost" is based on real events that took place in Afghanistan in October 2009. Gunshots and deaths are common in this hot Eastern country, but you can't get used to them. Especially if someone dies with whom you had a heart-to-heart conversation about the future, about coming home five minutes ago. Recently, this man was smiling, joking, dreaming, but now the life is leaving him with every drop of blood, and you can not turn back time. Only here is it possible to realize the value of every second lived. And it is better not to think that tomorrow may not come.
Several dozen soldiers of the international coalition against three hundred Taliban who unexpectedly attacked the checkpoint. The confident opponent expected an easy victory, but met with desperate resistance. Ordinary American guys, realizing the responsibility that lies on their shoulders, showed extraordinary courage and self-control. Not everyone managed to survive these terrible hours. The long, exhausting battle seemed never to end. And when the long-awaited silence came, the surviving warriors could not believe that everything was already over. Feelings of joy from victory and pride for the accomplished feat were not present, incredible fatigue and bitterness of loss filled their hearts.
