Several days ago I talked to American about their mentality and language and he said that if you answered the question “how are you?” with the words “I’m fine” you offended the person.
My friend said that it was better to use “good”, “great” or “perfect”. But “I’m fine” is a great option for British.
Just imagine how I’ve felt in that very moment. I was absolutely surprised by this thing.
I understood that I I frustrated people with this phrase for so long.
So what do I want to tell you? Just be very careful when I talk to the people from different countries because they have special details in their day-to-day conversations and you have to know them if you don’t want to make people feel uncomfortable with you!
