Alanya is a well-known and well-known resort on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey, where hundreds and thousands of tourists go in the season. There is also a promenade along which it is possible to perform walking promenade or ride a bike. In restaurants and cafes, caught on the pier, offering seafood, and souvenir shops may buy some memorable thing.
The lighthouse is located on a rocky embankment on the edge of the port Harbor. The building was built and assembled in France in 1880, and then transported to Alanya. The height of the system is 20 meters, lighting equipment allows to distribute the sign on a whole 200 miles, in fact that is also about 370 km. the lighthouse has been working properly for more than 100 years and is considered a reliable reference point for ships entering the port.
The ship yard is from 1228, for its intended purpose it was used until 1361, providing all the important fleet of the Sultan, which ruled this area of the sea. The architecture of Tersane gives an example of the development of the Seljuk period. The shipyard is located in the port of Alanya immediately behind the Reddish tower-on the waterfront it is possible to think of it as a pawn or sail by boat.
The Museum collection was created in 1967, but to this day, it is supplemented, for example, in the districts of Alanya every day archaeological excavations. The exhibition is made from the relics of several historical periods: Phrygian, Lydian, Greek, Byzantine. In the halls exhibited collections of ceramics, bronze and glass, preserved components of the exterior of the houses and almost everything else.
Probably, it is not easy to find a metropolis in Turkey, where there would be no Museum dedicated to Mustafa Kemal Ataturk – reformer, innovator and municipal functionary, who is revered as the "father of the nation"in the country. In a home in Alanya, on the land of which is now an exhibition, he stayed with his own sister and mother later return from the Syrian front. Here Ataturk was having a meeting and were faced with their own colleagues.
The monument in honor of the first President of the Republic of Turkey Ataturk was erected in Alanya on one of the Central squares in 1933. Sultan Ala al-DIN of the Seljuk dynasty ruled Alania in the XIII century. According to historical evidence, he was a professional commander and a far-sighted judge. Now the monument in his honor paints the city view. The Sultan is depicted riding a mighty stallion, his features are cruel and resolute, in his right hand he holds a scepter with the heraldic Seljuk emblem.
The mosque was built under Sultan Suleiman the Beautiful in the XVI century. The room gives a traditional example of Ottoman architecture: rigid rectangular shape, peaked arches, spherical dome of the prayer hall and towering over the entire minaret system. The Muslim sanctuary is considered to be active, as a result of this, adherents of other religions are difficult to get inside.
The water Park is located approximately 30 km from Alanya on the land of the water Planet Deluxe Hotel & Aquapark 5*. It gives a real ensemble for home entertainment with dozens of slides,pools, artificial rivers and attractions-bunkers. Speleologists have noticed a grotto in 1986, since 1998 it is not closed for guests. The length of the tourist route - a little more than 400 meters, it is made of 2 sites. The 1st one is more fascinating, which ends with a huge underground hall with a lake.
Damlatash cave is located in the city almost 100 meters from the sea shore,it was noticed in 1946 during the construction of the port. Before this space was a quarry. The entrance to the cave is quite comfortable, near it there is a beach and a small market. Damlatash does not stand out in huge volumes-there is only a hall once, but despite all the above it is possible to look at icicles and growths of unimaginable beauty.
The ruins of the ancient metropolis of Siedra are present 20 km from Alanya at the junction of Cilicia and pamphilia – the historical regions of Little Asia. It is, in fact, that the ancient settlement was founded in the I century. In drewnianych era Sadra flourished – there including printed personal coin. Cleopatra beach is one of the best in Alanya and the districts. It is a long well-groomed land, covered with untainted sand, along which countless hotel ensembles are located. The beach is very well adapted for entertainment with small children thanks to the developed infrastructure and a gentle entrance to the sea. There are pleasures for every taste: water skiing,banana, catamarans, paragliding, volleyball.

Kokorec - if you – an adherent of unusual dishes and do not understand actually what to try in Turkey, it is mandatory to order the restaurant kokorec.
