Use of ArchiMate in Strategy Development (Part 2)

On the base of SWOT analysis outline possible strategies.

They are divided into 4 groups: strengths-opportunities strategies, strengths-threats strategies, weaknesses-opportunities strategies and weaknesses-threats strategies.

These groups of strategies and assessments determined the strategies can be depicted by 2 representations: in the form of matrix and in the form of cross (Figure 8 and Figure 9):

Further, Using BCG matrix it is possible to show probable trajectories of company’s states on a qualitative level during realization of its strategies.

Now the company reaps the fruits of its labour, but the overall company's state is very unsteady.

If not undertake special actions, then the company will inevitably migrate from the current state into the exhausted state and eventually it will be removed from the pharmaceutical market (Figure 10):

But in case of successful realization of Attract Investors to Substitute Some Import APIs and FPPs Strategy the company will transform itself and can return again to the target state (Figure 11):
