Who can predict and foresee our future?
It's undefined, forecast always is faint.
Maybe one should open the science fiction
Or sci-fi series on TV can suit.
Well, I cannot say about all life sides,
But as an engineer I have to say
About our industrial future
And see the mankind development way.
I see the reign of reusable power:
Solar, tide based, wind and geothermal.
All that can be gained for almost forever,
All that can guarantee our safe life.
I see the cars of many ways of the motion:
It can be screen effect, air bag, propeller based
So we do not have a need to make roads
And to use fuel for their work anyway.
I dream of course about exploring cosmos:
To travel there like we travel sea,
Cover the distances faster than light can
And transform planets at our will.
Also there are holograms at every site.
They can be touched – that’s how they are real.
And of course the pharmacy will make a great breakthrough
Hope of the deadly diseases we’ll get rid.
There’s a hope that when we are able
To do all that I’ve described above,
We also will become a better nation
And forget our pathetic fights.
Cause if we want to be the Universe nation,
We should be thinking for the whole mankind.
Forget racism, religions et cetera,
Protect our Earth and our species – that’s right.
Maybe we will encounter the alien nation,
So, be prepared for the meeting we should.
Not like in movies: by weapons and anger,
But by our knowledge and wisdom for good.
Then I will be truly glad for the humans.
(It doesn’t matter how arrogant I speak)
Because we do deserve the life of better,
One just be calm and be working on it still.
