How to make it in Finland

A little party never killed nobody

When I first arrived in the city, one of the first things about which they began to tell me about Turku is what clubs are here, where to go and when. In honor of the arrival of students who came to Finland for the exchange, various welcome parties were arranged. Of course, it was interesting to settle something similar in another country, to compare what kind of club life is here and in my native country. The first club we visited was Bors. We should also note how wonderful it looks from the inside, how much space there is and how beautifully everything is decorated. Our first party here was really good, and I could advise all students who come to learn by exchange, not to miss it!

Since I was in a good impression, I thought that it was always in Turku! And, unfortunately, later disappointed. Despite the excellent organization, subsequently our trips to the club turned out to be boring. The music in the downtown clubs is monotonous, although we visited both Marilyn and Saaristobari. Pretty old songs are playing, which rather cause a feeling of nostalgia, but not a feeling of something unique in your life, of a special night.

In general, it makes sense to visit these places once or twice during their stay in Finland, but as a frequent entertainment, this is unlikely to fit.

Drink responsibly!
