News and social media reports are of more interest to Russians than fiction. This is evidenced by the results of a survey of the all-Russian center for the study of public opinion (VTsIOM), published on the website of the organization. It is noted that most Russians read news in social networks (39%), as well as in the media (38%). At the same time, it is specified that young people prefer to read news in social networks: 56% among 18-24-year - old respondents and 27% among respondents from 60 years.
