Rare nickel owned by Louis Elias will be auctioned in Philadelphia, where it can be sold for $3,000,000 - $5,000,000. This month Philadelphia will host the World Money Fair organized by the American Numismatic Association. The fair will be held in Pennsylvania from August 14 to 18. The most important lot will be the nickel named after financier Louis Elias who bought the coin in 1948 and gathered one of the greatest coin collections in the US history. The price of the coin is expected to reach $5,000,000. Collection of old American paper banknotes will be also auctioned and can raise up to $900,000.
