Russian girl in Finnish world

What I miss so much here in Finland 😢

It's BREAD!

Russian bread. We call it "brick" because it reminds of a brick :)

In Russia people eat bread for every meal - in the morning, afternoon, evening, especially the old ones. As for me, I like to have a slice of bread usually for dinner, we eat it with soup. It can be rye bread or wheat bread, with soup rye bread usually goes, but it's not a strict rule. Then, what is your problem? - you would ask me. Actually, what is my problem? There are plenty of kinds of bread in the shops, just choose what you like more. I tried, honestly! But couldn't :( Everything wasn't as tasty as in my home country. What is interesting that we also have Fazer's bread on the shelves of our grocery stores, one of them which is rye bread is my favourite, but I couldn't find it here - in the country of origin of Fazer! And I'm a bit unhappy about it 😩

It's not that I suffer without bread I'm used to eat, of course I eat local pastry, but so far I'm convinced that in Russia you can find the most tasteful bread in the world (shared first place with Italy, certainly 😉)
