Coco Chanel was born in the 19 of August 1883 in small town Somur in France. Her childhood wasn't so happy — after her mother's death she had to spend life in a monastery shelter where she learned how to sew.
Chanel's way as a designer was interesting — for first she was just selling women's hats and for the end she had her own boutique. Her designs include style and comfort so you can wear them anywhere.
The most popular designs from her are the little black dress (that's universal for different events with cuffs or jewellery), trousers for women, pearl jewelry, tweed suit and some others .
But how did Chanel achieve everything? Well, she started with a little hats shop that was really popular for actresses. It was opened in 1910 on Cambon street in France.
After that in 1910es Chanel showed her sport clothes collection that was made of jersey which was used only for men. It was a revolution in fashion world!
Coco Chanel's clothes included neutral colours like black, grey, brown and white so women could compare them with different accessories. Chanel was wearing elegant and beautiful clothes, especially from her brand.
In 1957 Coco Chanel won the "Oscar of fashion world" for her achievements and popularity. Also her Fashion House won the "Gem award" for achievements in jewelry with the collection "Haute Joaillerie Sport" in 2024.
In addition to clothes, Chanel specialised in jewelry. Her collection are fantastic and they won some awards! Also she had her perfume brand that's popular our time. It gets popular aromas like Chanel 5, Chanel mademoiselle .
