IP telephony is a modern form of communication that is developing rapidly, thanks to its comfort and accessibility. If you do not have an IP telephony provider in your city, you can connect to it via the Internet. You must have access to the Internet using a Wi-Fi router or modem. The advantages of IP telephony include the absence of the need to lay a telephone line and data transmission over great distances.
Setting up your IP phone
There is one general principle of configuration for all IP phones - this is the installation of a standard set of programs that are necessary for each user in accordance with his needs. Before buying a device, you need to check with your provider what equipment is suitable for its network.

Follow these steps to set up your phone:
Go to the web interface of the phone
1. Use the base station, connect it to the Internet and turn on the phone. With the help of a system that will automatically find them, they should merge within a few minutes.
2.From your phone, go to:
menu - settings - state.
3. Then scroll down to IP Address.
4. Enter the IP address in your browser to find the phone's configuration page.
5. Log in with the following default credentials:
Username: admin
Password: admin
Select your phone profile settings.
1. From the top menu navigate to:
Profiles - Profile 1 - Network settings.
2. Set NAT Traversal to NO.
3. Now click save and apply.
Configure DECT parameters.
1. At the top of the menu, go to DECT - SIP Account Settings.
2. Enter the information you need to enter under account 1.
- SIP server - the address is provided by the provider
- SIP user ID - enter username
- Authenticate User ID - Enter your username again
- Password - Enter your password
- Name - enter your name
- Profile - Profile 1
- HS mode - HS1
- Active - yes
3. Click save and apply.
4. From the top menu, select DECT - Handset Line Settings.
5. Select your username on line 1 next to each handset.
6. Click save and apply.
To check the quality of the system in test mode, you can call your mobile and make a test call.
