At the Moscow Financial Forum on Entrepreneurship, an initiative was announced to include mining in the register of types of entrepreneurial activity. This proposal was received from the chairman of the State Duma Committee on the Financial Market, Anatoly Aksakov. Changes are planned in the legislation of the Russian Federation in relation to digital assets.
After the bill is approved, miners will need to enter information about their activities in the Unified State Register of Individual Entrepreneurs (EGRIP). Also, giving a legal status to mining does not legalize the use of the results of their work by miners. According to the law "O CFA", miners cannot use the extracted cryptocurrency as a payment for goods, works or services.
At the moment, the miner can already legalize its activities by registering as an individual entrepreneur, a legal entity or a self-employed person. The regulation of mining will help bring the crypto industry in Russia to a new level, says BitCluster co-founder Sergey Arestov.
