The most dangerous and deadly tornado happened on April 26, 1989 in Bangladesh (Manikganj region). In terms of strength, this tornado is rated as F4, it passed through densely populated and poor areas of the country. More than 20 villages and several large cities were destroyed. More than 80,000 people were left homeless, and the death toll is estimated at over 1,300.
