Many millions of years ago, when there were no seven continents but there was one big continent, its territory was inhabited by dinosaurs. It was a Jurassic period, when the climate was warm and humid enough than it is today. There was almost no land near the equator, it was a great place for dinosaurs to live. Even when the mainland split up, it did not prevent dinosaurs from adapting. The dinosaurs were of different sizes and differed from each other not only in their physique, but also in their color and way of life. Most of the dinosaurs ate vegetation, shrubs and tree tops, but there were also those who ate small animals and birds. They were hunting them in their favorite way, getting food for themselves. Scientists found out that some dinosaurs lived alone, while others were in flocks. The dinosaurs themselves were the same reptiles as turtles or crocodiles, but they were large and had dry skin. While studying dinosaurs, scientists found that they lived in all parts of the mainland. Their remains were found not only in warm countries, but also in Antarctica. Of all the reptiles that once inhabited our land, dinosaurs were studied by scientists very well. Dinosaurs, like other animals, laid eggs, arranged nests and hatching offspring.
Tiranosaurus is considered to be the largest predator among dinosaurs. It was so huge that it terrified all the inhabitants of the valley. He was 6 meters tall, had sharp teeth, and moved fast enough, though he was very big. The smallest kind of dinosaur is considered to be a komsogonate. It is also a predator, but it is only a small one, and its growth reached the growth of modern turkey. Small lizards and other insects were the most common foodstuffs. The complex was often a prey for other big brothers, so nature gave him strong hind legs that he could use to move around quickly. Yet the biggest dinosaur of all was the dinosaur. He was too big, his body was 25 meters long, and the long neck ended with a small head. In his food, he preferred the leaves of shrubs and algae, and a large and strong tail helped him to cope with his enemies.
Another interesting kind of dinosaur who have lived for a long time - is a parazavrolof. This animal had a bizarre appearance, its head was covered with a long bone crest. He lived in a dinosaur near water bodies, and we can say that he could swim a little. Another dinosaur with bone plates on his back was called a stegosaur. He had a small head and a large torso. Bone plates, growing from head to tail, helped the animal to fight off predators. He lived among all these interesting animals and triceratops, which looked like a modern big rhino. Triceratops was a strong animal, most often up to a length of 9 meters. This kind of dinosaurs had a bone collar, and three horns. One was located on the nose, and the other two were above the eyes.
The dinosaurs were truly giant creatures, each with its own peculiarity. Scientists are most inclined to believe that once a meteorite fell to Earth, which provoked great change. The climate on the planet has changed dramatically and, according to scientists, it provoked the extinction of dinosaurs. We only have to watch them from the pages of books, films and cartoons.
Life on our planet has arisen long ago. First it was inhabited by small single-celled creatures, which were replaced by amazing dinosaur creatures. Many believe that dinosaurs are quite mysterious animals that lived on Earth. Scientists find their remains almost all over the planet. This, in turn, suggests that the dinosaurs could safely move around the planet. But something went wrong, and with time they disappeared completely.
For a long time people didn't even know who the dinosaurs were. When scientists discovered their remains for the first time, they decided not to attach much importance to it. Over time, finding dinosaurs has become their favorite activity. Quite often archeologists find amazing remains of these unknown creatures. From the life of dinosaurs, we know only that in ancient times, our planet was boiling with life. The climate was much warmer than it is now. Wide valleys were formed, rivers and forests were formed. It was the world of dinosaurs. These animals appeared in the Mesozoic period. Some of them were very small, the size of a bird, while others, on the contrary, caused fear in the whole area, and the animals living in it. Thanks to archeologists' excavations, we already know what a dinosaur looked like at that time. These were animals that moved on both two and four legs. Most of the dinosaurs were covered in scaly skin. Some of the species had thorns and a variety of body processes. Dinosaurs laid eggs, and eventually small dinosaurs emerged from them.
Dinosaurs lived exclusively on land, but as they evolved, they began to develop water and air.
