Features of life attitudes of students

Students are defined as "a special social group characterized by specially organized, spatially and temporarily structured being, working, living and leisure conditions, social behavior and psychology, system of value orientations". Among the system-forming features of students are the marginalization of all aspects of their existence, subculture, relative independence of social psychology and behavior, and the dominant influence of age and sex factor.
Determining the age limits of youth, namely the upper one, is very important. This knowledge is important in two aspects: firstly, the youth age is the stage of qualification, the stage of gaining a position in society. If a person has received a qualification, he or she can no longer be classified as a youth. Secondly, the youth age is the stage of choice and decision-making affecting their future. Student work is a huge intellectual and managerial potential of cultural and spiritual, state and administrative, economic and material spheres of society. Being the intellectual and spiritual elite of young people, it is the potential elite of society as a whole, the future intelligentsia, the color of the nation.

The main function of students is educational activity.

Student activity as a social group has a very unstable structure and functions and is a "focus group of the future society as a whole". The intensive component of the student's structure is connected with the height of his needs, ambitions, intentions, abilities and demands of material, cultural, spiritual, political and rational. And an extensive element of this structure correlates with the demand for students from society.

Life attitudes and their features among students

Life attitudes, ideas about life, destiny and the world order. They largely determine how we make our decisions, how we act and what we expect from life. Settings are different: active or passive, pessimistic or optimistic, fantastic or realistic, etc. Once you have understood your attitudes, you can understand the reasons for what is happening to us and make more conscious decisions.

Changing attitudes

A personality is not only formed from ideas about oneself. This process is also conditioned by general life expectations and attitudes. Those who see life as a struggle, in any situation, first of all see the dangers waiting for them. Those who approach life as an opportunity to find satisfaction are looking for in different areas of joy. In this case, they are more willing to find something good in everything and strive to behave more in a way that brings more joy to themselves and others.

Life's attitudes depend on what is most important to a person. Have you ever asked yourself what you personally would like to achieve in your life? Acquire any material values, gain public recognition, etc.? The values you want to achieve coincide with your attitudes and lead to different behaviours. Those who want to achieve material well-being must treat the world around them differently from those who want to improve their personality.

The tradition of studying the value orientations of society as a whole and its groups in particular has developed for a long time of its existence many definitions of this important concept of sociology. The notion of value orientation has repeatedly become the center of numerous studies by prominent foreign and Russian scholars. The peculiarities of the value orientations of students' youth are determined by the following factors.

1) Age-demographic;

2) Ambivalent - transitory;

3) educational;

4) divisional-delivery.

The main problem of students' value orientation is their fundamental polarization, which has a direct impact on their layout and orientation.
