Italian Bank Banca Sella Becomes First in the Country to Launch Crypto Services Under MiCA
European banks continue to enter the crypto space, and now it is happening officially and by the book. Banca Sella, a major Italian bank with around $54 billion in assets under management, has officially notified the country’s central bank and received approval to launch cryptocurrency services. The organization has become the first traditional bank in Italy to legally operate with digital assets under the new European MiCA regulation.
