Substations and Boiler Houses Counted
Krasnodar, 18 September – Yug Times. Krasnodar has summed up five years of utilities sector development.
To improve residents’ comfort, new networks for electricity, heating, water supply and drain age are built each year, while existing ones are modernised. Over the past five years, five boiler houses have been built and 20 upgraded, and more than 5.6 km of the Thermal Power Plant - City Centre heating main have been replaced. A new booster pump station has been launched in Moskovsky neighbourhood, along with modular boiler houses in Zakharov Street, Molodezhny neighbourhood and Plodorodny village.
Specialists have also repaired 1,800 transformer substations. Over the past five year, around 100 km of water supply and 120 km of drainage networks have been built or reconstructed.
In 2024, work began on the second stage of the city’s main sewage collector No. 20. The 23 km-long facility, with a capacity of 150,000 cubic metres per day, is now 55% complete and due for delivery in March 2027.
