This Amagi aircraft carrier is of the Unruh type. The construction was started on October 1, 1942, launched on October 15, 1943, completed by construction in Nagasaki on August 10, 1944. On July 29, 1945, as a result of damage caused by the bombing of American aircraft, the Amagi aircraft carrier lay down in the Kura. Raised and sold for scrap in 1947.
